Hello and happy Friday from a very wet and rainy central Texas. Although I do really love the rain (and spending time inside curled up with a great book and my favorite coffee or wine), the weather this week has put a damper on things. One, I haven’t been able to take my favorite fur baby for her daily walks and two, I haven’t been able to shoot anything for the blog. Here’s to hoping it clears up for the weekend because we have some pretty fun plans! My sis-in-law, her husband and my nephew are coming to visit and we are going to Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I haven’t done something like this since high school and I’m pretty excited/freaked out! It’ll be great!

September means back-to-school around here when it comes to my “day job.” I’m not an educator but I do work with them and so things definitely start picking back up. We still managed to squeeze in some fun things this month, though.

We started the month with a little weekend trip to LA. I find myself thinking about it a lot and am so ready to go back! Check out my Eat+Stay+Play guide to LA for everything we did, ate, stayed, etc…

I had a great time shopping for a cause at the Kendra Scott store in The Shops at La Cantera with other bloggers, supporting childhood cancer awareness. Read about it on my post, where I also highlighted my favorite pieces from Kendra’s fall collection.

I shared a delicious apple cider mimosa recipe on the blog. Have you tried it yet? It’s so yummy for fall.

I tried my first Stitchfix box and have loved the items I received. I have a blog post coming soon about the experience – just need this rain to cease! I love these grey booties they sent!

I finally did another beauty post where I recommended three of my favorite products right now. Have you tried any of them yet?

October is shaping up to be an incredibly busy month. We have a couple of exciting trips planned that I can’t wait to blog about, so stay tuned. How was your September? Are you as ready for fall as I am?
