As someone who has spent most of her life wearing simple stud earrings, I’m surprising myself at all the statement earrings I’m suddenly into. But hey, what’s the fun in always doing the same thing? And as they say, a woman can always change her mind.

You may have seen these Plunder earrings on my Instagram earlier this week. A friend of mine reached out and sent me a pair to style and share with you all. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’d actually never heard of the brand before, but I can say they are just adorable. They’re totally part of the “new me” I mentioned. Haha… But seriously they are very affordable and pretty much go with about half my closet. I love the heft and feel to them and the fact that they are so large for such an affordable price.

I threw on a shift dress from last season (I actually have this dress in about 5 colors – hello vacation staple) and some espadrille wedges. Finish it off with a bamboo bag and I can already hear a patio calling my name. This was the easiest and most comfortable look. The statement earrings just elevated it to date night, vacation dinner, beachside party, or casual night out.
