Happy Monday, peeps! How was your weekend? We enjoyed a mix of low-key lounging around with getting out of the house and engaging in a social life. Ha!
On Saturday we got a little education in the production and taste of tequila! I will never be able to say tequila out loud without seeing Pee Wee Herman dance through my head to the song Tequila. Go ahead and YouTube that if you have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s worth a laugh!
We followed that up with a little Mexican food and a movie night. We also squeezed in some shopping. I found an amazing pair of Tory Burch platform espadrilles (my addiction continues) at Nordstrom Rack for an insane price. This pair is VERY similar – I love the updated heel style. I’ll be experimenting with them and building some vacation outfits for our little jaunt to Croatia. Oh, have I mentioned that yet? *sarcasm*
Today’s Daily Look is built around yellow. I’ve been on a little yellow kick lately. I just purchased this yellow one-piece swimsuit (under $29) and I’m even eyeing some future home decor purchases that incorporate it.
My top, sadly, is no longer available. So I linked a few similar styles for you to recreate the look. I think the biggest wow factor in this entire ensemble is how the stripes of my bag pop against all that moody black and dark yellow. The ruffles are also really fun and I never leave the house for date night without a pair of heels. Or a pair of espadrilles. You guys know me.

The only issue I currently have with a top like this, is the proper bra. I have a love/hate relationship with strapless bras, so if anyone has a great recommendation for one please drop me a note in the comments!
