C-O-F-F-E-E … because it’s too early for wine. Today’s daily look is inspired by Harper’s Bazaar’s recent article about the Parisian style guide to summer. Nothing too overdone. Just relaxed, put together, and comfortably chic.

It’s so hard to pull all three of these things off when it gets into triple digits, so eventually the white jeans will get replaced with a sundress. But for now, I’m enjoying sitting in the shade and sipping a non-iced cappuccino.

I met a friend of mine, who also happens to be a blogger (check her out @latebylattes), for a little “sip & shoot” this week. Our schedules finally coincided and the result was a fun afternoon of brainstorming and shooting content for our blogs.

I found some really good pieces at Nordstrom Rack over the weekend and we shot a few of those. Today’s daily look features two of them – a classic linen striped cami and a pair of quilted platform espadrilles. I love how different the heel is in this pair when compared to the usual wedge style I go for. Similar styles can also be found here and here.
