Of all the fall and winter pieces in my wardrobe, the sweater dress has to be my favorite item by far. I love wearing dresses year round so naturally the cozy comfort of a sweater dress is something I can’t get enough of this time of year (I LOVED this one in Napa last November). I mentioned this lovely little black sweater dress in my recent Amazon favorites post, and today I’m sharing a little more about it plus a roundup of other sweater dresses under $100 I’m also currently loving. Some of these styles are under twenty-five and thirty-five, too!
Who else loves a great sweater dress???
Sweater dresses come in a variety of silhouettes, but I tend to stick to a style that isn’t too tight but isn’t overly baggy either. I guess you could say I like a nice drape. A turtleneck, cowl neck, or mock turtleneck is nice for that added bit of cozy, too.
This sweater dress checks a few of those boxes with its mock neck and hug-you-in-all-the-right-places style. I’m wearing it in black but it comes in nine other really pretty colors. For the under $35 price, I might consider another one just because the fit is so good. I believe it fits true to size, but if you want a more roomy fit maybe go up a size. What I really love about this sweater dress though, are the sleeves. They gently puff at the shoulder and then again at the wrist.
