Today our container arrived in Amsterdam! I’m still amazed that it arrived a little over a month after the movers packed up our house. It’s just crazy to me that it traveled across the Atlantic and delivered to our door as if it was an in-town move. The next step is getting everything organized – eek. Luckily for my husband, I enjoy home organization. I’m so ready to just get settled.
Until then, I’ve been crocheting like a mad woman. I feel like I’m at least being productive when I’m creating something. My two previous countdown creations (Crossbody Bag and Summer Tee) were such a hit that I decided to keep going. Today’s post features countdown creation #3, the Topaz Tee!
I actually finished this tee a few weeks ago but my clothes are all over the place so I couldn’t shoot it when I wanted to. Plus, I really don’t have a lot of wardrobe options right now (thankfully a lot of things go well with white denim LOL).
This is the Topaz Tee designed by my favorite designer/creator, Two of Wands. As per usual I purchased the kit from Lion Brand, but changed the yarn color to something bright and summery.
Making this tee reminded me of the Filet Market Tote I made, also designed by Two of Wands. That tote hooked me on this hobby for good. The filet stitch is super easy and makes for a great open weave garment that’s perfect for summer. You can wear it over a swimsuit top or a cami or bralette. I chose a white tank because, well, I’m out of options. But it worked!
