Have you ever ordered a swimsuit from Amazon? I ordered my first Amazon swimsuit when we traveled to Croatia and it ended up being one of my favorite swimsuits ever. Amazon even reposted my photo to their Instagram page! You can see the post here. I still love my bright yellow ruffle strap one-piece and a bunch of you ordered one for yourself, too. It continues to be a big seller so I included it in today’s Amazon swimsuit roundup, along with several other styles I ordered and have my eye on. First, can I just say how pleased I am that one-piece swimsuits have come a long way in style and fit? With details in the right places and sleek silhouettes, I think they look great on anyone. I especially love this scalloped backless swimsuit in black. I ordered a medium and feel it fits true to size, but if you have a longer torso I would consider going up one size. The scallop detail is really cute and I just think a solid black one-piece swimsuit is really chic.
Second, bikinis are also having a bit of a renaissance. While I’m not going to be parading around in a thong (more power to you if you do!), I do love that there seems to be more variety in the cuts. I think it’s easier to be more confident in a two-piece swimsuit these days. Low, high, cheeky, tied…the options seem pretty endless to get the look you want. I ordered this tie-front leopard bikini and it’s definitely a cheekier swimsuit than I’m used to but I am embracing it!
So, where am I going to be wearing these new swimsuits? Well, after a year of not traveling (minus a road trip here and there), we booked a trip to the Florida Keys! I’m so excited for our first post-vaccination trip! We’ve never been to this part of Florida before and I cannot WAIT to be on the beach and by the pool. Stay tuned for more details on this trip!
