I’m finally sharing this boho crochet cardigan just in time for a cozy weekend! This project took a bit longer than I expected but I loved how it turned out. It’s another beautiful pattern designed by Alexi at Two of Wands, and if you’re looking for a relaxing project to get you through the holiday season, this one is it!
Watch my video of this cardigan!
This is the Movie Night Cocoon Cardi and you can get the FREE pattern from Two of Wands! Or, you can buy the kit from Lion Brand here. I purchased the ad-free pdf from Two of Wands because I had a bunch of leftover yarn that I needed to use up, so a kit wasn’t necessary this time. One of the reasons why I love this cardigan so much is that you don’t have to use one kind of yarn for the entire garment (although it looks great like that). With this pattern you can get creative and mix different skeins in different colors and even textures. Use a lighter weight yarn for spring and summer or a chunkier yarn for cooler weather. Or go about it as a total stash buster and really use up those lonely leftover skeins like I did!
I had some leftover Color Theory and Comfy Cotton Blend yarn from Lion Brand that went together beautifully. The colors were meant for each other. I love the creamy tones.
Another reason I love this cardigan is that it is SO EASY! If you’re a beginner crocheter and want to make something you can wear (that isn’t another scarf), this project is perfect. You can even crochet it while watching your favorite Christmas movies. Alexi’s instructions are clear and easy to follow. So go ahead – ask Santa for a set of crochet hooks. And let me know how your cardigan turns out!
