On Mondays I feel like the weekend is so far away and then Friday gets here and I’m all, where’d the week go? After coming down from a pretty fun birthday week and major Vegas high (read my post about why I always choose Vegas for my birthday) my husband and I faced a rather stressful week. He’s been in Chicago for the last few days with a big presentation weighing on his mind (it went very well, as I knew it would) and I’ve been on the road again for work per usual. We’ve also had something on the calendar every weekend until today so I’m very happy to just be a homebody for a couple of days.
I rounded up all my favorite Instagram shots from the week. I don’t intend these recaps to just be a repeat of what you see on my Instagram feed. I like recapping my favorites on the blog and giving you a little more background into the photo – why I took it, what it really means, etc – that I can’t always say in a quick Instagram post. I’m also working on several new blog posts for the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!
I did a little pre-Vegas shopping and came across Target’s killer shoe game! These gorgeous brocade heels are going to get a lot of wear this fall and winter. I linked them under Shop My Instagram and they’re under $30. Total steal.
I snapped this photo of the Bellagio a few years ago when we first stayed there. It was really nice to be back. It has always been one of my favorite hotels on the strip.
This is possibly one of the only photos of me without makeup in existence. You think I’m kidding. I’m not. I don’t know what it is about room service that I love so much. Ever since I saw the move Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts has a little “carpet picnic,” I’ve wanted to have breakfast in my bathrobe. The miniature jams and S&P shakers are an added bonus.
These shoes!! I don’t know what to say about them except…these shoes!! When your husband says, “Let’s head over to Christian Louboutin and look at shoes for you,” you don’t say no. Seriously, best husband ever.
My favorite thing about October is the emergence of pumpkin patches. The botanical gardens at Bellagio never disappoint. I just love all the colors and the giant pumpkins. Some are well over 200 pounds.
What are some of your favorite things to put on the ‘Gram? Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
