When it comes to easy holiday drink recipes, you can count me WAY in. I’m all about making it easy so I can just Christmas and chill. I’ve been curating a group of holiday drinks to take you from cocoa to cocktails (plus easy appetizer pairings), so be sure to check those out below.
My typical go to is champagne because it just makes any holiday gathering feel that much more special. Kicking off a party with a pop and a fizz is one of my favorite things!
But I love a cozy night in, too. When I’m by the fire, wrapping gifts, or watching a Christmas movie – you know, all the Christmas clichés, a mug of hot chocolate is almost like another appendage. I like to make my hot chocolate a little more “adult” by adding some bourbon marshmallows. Don’t worry, Santa said it was ok.
My sweet friends at Delysia Chocolatier sent me their Cayenne Drinking Chocolate and handmade Bourbon Marshmallows to try, and I must admit they make an amazing combination. You get the sweetness of the chocolate with a nice caramel bourbon note and then a kick of cayenne at the end. It’s truly decadent!
Delysia Chocolates are handmade locally in Austin, Texas from the finest ingredients, including ethically sourced cacao. There are no preservatives and Delysia even offers kosher, vegan, and dairy-free options. I love their commitment to producing chocolates in a sustainable way, and that they’re handmade in a Parisian style.
Thank you, Delysia, for sending me your wonderful products to review and share with my readers!
