I’m so thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving with our family. We’ve always made it about spending time with each other, catching up and laughing to old stories. To say our blessings are bountiful would be an understatement. A tradition in our house is also watching football. Every Thanksgiving we gather around the television to watch our beloved Aggies. And what goes best with football? Beer.
My Bountiful Boilermaker is a great addition to the Thanksgiving table. It combines a small cornucopia of fall ingredients with your favorite pumpkin ale.
What you’ll need:
1 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz. Apple Cider
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
Pumpkin Ale
Ice
Prep:
In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey, apple cider, lemon juice and pumpkin puree. Shake vigorously. Strain over a glass filled with ice. Top with pumpkin ale. Garnish was a cinnamon stick and frozen cranberries.
