I never feel as polished as I do in a blazer. It’s like an instant facelift to just about anything. This daily look is about the boyfriend blazer, a great silhouette because it’s longer in the body. It’s perfect for those of us who weren’t blessed with tall genes. Anything that elongates the torso gets two thumbs up from me.

This boyfriend blazer ups the game even more with just a little stretch, making it hug in the right places while being comfortable enough to wear all day. I love ponte-knit pieces for this reason. It’s my new favorite layering piece to throw on for a lunch date or meeting. 

I have this blazer in a print as well, as seen here and here. I like the printed version for adding what looks like texture to my outfit. But the simplicity of the black boyfriend blazer is what I continue to come back to. Lately I’m wearing neutrals and monochromatic looks more and more. I’m going to try belting this blazer over a skirt next.
