How are you guys liking the Daily Look series here on le blog? I’m finding it fun to share more about some of the daily looks I post over on the old ‘gram. Things like what I was thinking when I put my outfit together, the reason behind why I’m wearing it, and more about the photo location (you’d be surprised sometimes by what is just off-camera).

This week my friend Trish (Late By Lattes) and I had our second “sip-n-shoot.” I think we’ve started a little tradition of getting together for coffee at a fun local shop and then setting out to shoot content for our blogs and IG. She is so smart when it comes to photo composition and has a real eye for scouting locations. And we have a great time hanging out!

Today’s daily look is a simple romper and wedges. Summer is so hot and to be honest, I don’t always love trying to figure out what to wear. I have been known to stare at my clothes for minutes on end hoping inspiration strikes. A romper is an easy solution because it’s a top and bottom in one.

If I was actually going to ride this bike somewhere (it’s a prop – you know, do it for the gram…), a romper is also a totally comfortable outfit for it. I wear a lot of dresses in the summer and a romper gives me the illusion of a skirt with the freedom of shorts.

Shocker…I’m wearing my favorite wedges…AGAIN! I can’t help myself. I’m a short person and these give me the illusion of legs for days. Plus the pop of yellow with the blue and white stripes of the romper are pretty fun.
