I am a firm believer in the charcuterie board. It’s basically a staple around our house as a snack, an appetizer when entertaining, or as a meal itself. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next charcuterie board, there’s plenty to be found on Instagram and Pinterest. I even did a little post here on it. But have you ever made a dessert charcuterie board? In the name of Valentine’s Day, why not?!
This is the perfect time of year for creating a fun dessert charcuterie board, because hello – Valentine’s Day! The best part of a great board is sharing it with those you love. I really enjoy sitting around a big charcuterie board with friends, sipping wine, laughing and telling stories. So even if Valentine’s Day isn’t your thing, make this easy dessert charcuterie board for your Galentine’s party (or anytime, really)!
When I say that this board is easy, I mean it’s soooooo easy. And it’s quick to put together, so you can whip this up at the last minute and still wow your guests. Anything sweet can go onto your dessert charcuterie board, but since I made this one for Valentine’s Day, I tried to incorporate red, pink, and white. Think about red fruits, strawberry marshmallows, milk and/or white chocolate. I dipped some of the marshmallows in frosting and red sprinkles just for fun. I also added heart-shaped cookies that were pre-cut. You literally just bake them for a few minutes. Add some fun food picks and garnish with fresh mint and you’re all set.

If you have time or just want to test your Martha Stewart skills, then you can always add more or get more creative with your presentation. I went the quick and easy route with my dessert board, but you can do whatever you want. That’s what is so fun about charcuterie boards. The creativity is endless.
Ideas for taking it up a notch:
♡ Melt some chocolate for dipping your fruit, almost like a little fondue.
♡ Replace plain strawberries with chocolate covered strawberries.
♡ Bake your own cookies.
♡ Add rice krispy treats made from your favorite marshmallow kids cereal.
♡ Speaking of kids cereals, why not pour some into a small bowl? (Like you’ve never had just a handful of Fruit Loops right out of the box. 😉 )
♡ Add your favorite candies like pink and white M&M’s or Kisses.
♡ Make fresh whipped cream for dipping.
♡ Add peanuts, cashews, or almonds for a sweet & salty board.
Pair it with:
♡ French press coffee for a beautiful presentation and bold flavor.
♡ Classic cappuccino.
♡ Sparkling rosé for a celebratory feel. Don’t forget a gorgeous flute!
♡ Hot cocoa for the kiddos.
