Another month spent staying at home meant another month where we binged a lot of movies and shows. Check out everything we binged in April here! I don’t really like calling our situation a quarantine, because technically that’s not what it is. But that seems to be the standard term these days for staying at home as much as possible and social distancing. We are still doing that and thankfully have managed not to get sick, and we hope that our continued efforts help others to stay safe and healthy, too.
I hope that these “binge” posts help you to find something to watch if you haven’t already exhausted your Netflix. It’s starting to get tough to find new things of interest, but that’s why having a watch schedule with a variety of genres has helped us. We have been sticking to our little schedule (see below) and it’s really helped us to see everything we want and avoid the conundrum of mindlessly scrolling through all our streaming services and struggling to choose. Plus it gives me something to look forward to throughout the week. I always look forward to classic movie night and 80s/90s movie night (although we will probably extend this one to include the early 2000s, too).
We have at least one more month at home before Paul returns to the office, so I’ll be sure to post June’s list as well. We added Disney+ this month which gave us Hulu. I’m enjoying The Handmaid’s Tale so far!

Just a quick blurb about this outfit…I love this dress! I was influenced by Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior and knew that if she recommended it, it would be great. And it is. The fit is pretty spot on (I’m wearing a medium for reference and could probably go to the small but I like the oversized fit). It’s also lined so you don’t have to worry about it being see-thru. And, it has POCKETS! It’s honestly going to be a favorite this summer.
Now that some restaurant patios are open for business, we ventured out for the first time in three months to support a local restaurant in San Antonio. It felt really good to do something that felt pre-covid. But we were still really careful, as were the restaurant employees. We wore masks and everyone was seated quite far apart. They had hand sanitizer on every table. So maybe it wasn’t a completely pre-covid dining experience, but it was close. For these pictures we went downstairs to an outdoor area where there weren’t any people.

Erin,
I love your binge list!! I remember watching splash and I really need to watch knives out! When you mentioned Icarus I had to smile because one of our leander ISD high schools played songs from Icarus at the BOA in San Antonio for UIL state, cedar Park HS. They placed 1st in division 5a and our school Rouse HS placed 4th in the same division.🖤
Thanks for sharing your favs!

Hi Natasha! I hadn’t seen Splash since I was a kid. I remember it making me want to be a mermaid. 🙂 How cool about the Icarus music. Now I need to go back and listen to it more carefully. And that is so awesome about your HS band! Thanks for stopping by, as always! xo – Erin
