Happy weekend! It’s here…we made it.

It’s been almost 3 full weeks as a full-time blogger and I AM LOVING IT! Sorry for shouting, but yeah it’s pretty awesome. My day is so full and I find myself going to bed at night with a list of things to accomplish the next day. I’m also finding that inspiration and ideas tend to pop into my head during the most mundane tasks, like when I’m in the shower or making lunch. I haven’t felt this creatively challenged, in a good way, in so long!

This weekend we are heading to a wedding, the first one we’ve been to in quite awhile. It’s an evening wedding so I’ll be in my usual LBD. Later in the month I’m going to a tequila tasting event, which is out of my comfort zone because tequila and I have an “interesting” relationship. Maybe a thorough tasting will help smooth our history. LOL

My “Merci” t-shirt was the perfect thing to wear today – because who isn’t thankful for weekends? But let’s be honest, if the shirt just said “Thanks,” I’d never wear it. But French it up and I’m like, I’ve gotta have that. Who can relate?

Speaking of Grace, you have to read this hysterical synopsis of a recent Facebook conversation about all the beauty products our husbands/boyfriends/partners love to steal. I was dying! I recently gave a little facial (shhhh…don’t tell anyone) to my husband and he laughingly says, “Where do you get all this crap?” Yet…I’m pretty sure he loved it.

This is the next luxury resort I want to stay in.
