Galentine’s Day Brunch with Whataburger

Food and Wine, Lifestyle / Friday, February 7th, 2020

Hello friends! I know I have readers from all over the world, but if you’re from Texas, then you completely understand the love we have for Whataburger. I’ve been so fortunate to work with them on a few fun campaigns (you can see them on Instagram here, here, and here). So, when the team at Whataburger invited me to a Galentine’s Day brunch, of course my rsvp was YES!

Ok, so a little background on Whataburger. If you don’t know, no – it’s not just fast food. It’s really good food that just happens to be fast. And open 24 hours. I have so many fun college memories of eating at Whataburger in the wee morning. A taquito at 2 am tastes amazingly good. Whataburger is part of the fabric of Texas. Everyone knows those orange and white stripes. My grandparents always swore by their coffee, which they got for free with the purchase of their meal as part of the senior discount. I mean, how great is that? Also, I don’t know about you but every single Whataburger I’ve ever been to is always superbly clean, the staff is extremely nice, and the food is consistently hot and delicious. They bring your food to your table with a smile along with a selection of sauces. Name another fast food place that does all that.

Aside from making a burger literally any way that you want, I found out that Whataburger is also pretty great at throwing a beautiful Galentine’s Day brunch. I was invited along with several other bloggers to the AT&T Center location, where the team had decked it out in pink and red everything. Balloons, banners, party hats, curly straws, confetti…it was like a full on Galentine’s explosion. I loved it! And they were so nice to let us order anything off the Whataburger menu. ANY…thing. Do you know how hard that is when everything on the menu is good?! That could take a while.

One of the best parts of the party was getting to meet some bloggers I hadn’t ever met before and to celebrate all the hard-working ladies who show up every day to put 100% into their passions. Everyone was so sweet and of course there was a lot of picture-taking. We are bloggers, afterall.

Now to make you jealous. The Whataburger team gifted us with our very own “I’m So Fancy” or “I’m So Spicy” Yeti cups. Is this not the cutest Yeti you’ve ever seen? You have to be familiar with their famous ketchups, but I think a lot of you will appreciate the creativity here.

Thank you so much, Whataburger, for a beautiful Galentine’s Day brunch! I had a very “Fancy” time. 😉

P.S. I have a “secret” Whataburger tip: Whenever you order breakfast, ask for fries instead of hashbrowns. Mind…blown. I mean, is it ever too early for fries? I don’t think so.
