This post is sponsored by Abba Patio. I was compensated and provided with a Porta Pop in exchange for an honest review. As always, all opinions are my own.
While we practically live outdoors year round, there’s just something about Fall that makes me want to do it even more. As you guys know, I’m all about that cafe lifestyle. I talk about it frequently and how much I wish we had more of it here like they do in Europe. It’s one of my favorite parts of traveling there – all those beautiful outdoor cafes full of people reading, sipping wine or coffee, and just enjoying life.
So, when Abba Patio approached me with their Porta Pop, I was eager to try it out – I can’t get enough of outdoor living! We have a covered patio, but we like to mix it up sometimes and hang out in other areas of our home. The Porta Pop makes it easy to do that. Whether it’s watching the big game or going all out with a rustic outdoor wine party (my favorite way to entertain), you can set up the Porta Pop in about 5 minutes. I even did it all by myself.
How to Throw a Rusic, Fall Outdoor Wine Party
Setting Up the Porta Pop
Choose a spot large enough to set up your Porta Pop. Abba Patio has an 8×8, 10×10, and a 10×15 Porta Pop. If you’re using it on a grassy area, make sure to use the included stakes to secure it in place. The top of the canopy attaches quickly with velcro straps so you can get your party set up really quickly.
The Porta Pop comes in dark gray (pictured), blue, and white. I chose the dark gray because I knew it would go well with my Fall decor.
Seating
As this was a rustic, Fall outdoor party, I wanted it to feel as comfortable as it does inside my home. I shopped my house for chairs and accessories to create a little rustic nook. Cozy cafe chairs paired with a casual bench invites guests to kick back and relax.
Rustic Fall Decor
My home is an eclectic mix of leather, hardwoods, cowhides, candles, pillows, and throws. It’s so comfortable that it can be hard to want to go anywhere no matter what time of year it is. But in the Fall, it’s even more comfy when those candles become pumpkin spice or vanilla, and snuggling under a squishy blanket with a glass of wine becomes the norm. I want my guests to feel that same level of comfort even when we’re all outside.
I grabbed a cowhide rug that is normally in my entryway to anchor the space. I centered the table and flanked it with two kitchen chairs and a cowhide bench. I added a couple of pillows and a basket of blankets. For added ambience, a tall lantern will be lit as the sun goes down.
Now that I look at the space I created, I will definitely be adding more lanterns with candles. You could even hang a small chandelier from the center of the Porta Pop.
Food and Wine
As always, a charcuterie board is the center of attention. A few cured meats, a selection of cheeses, and something with a little crunch – like crackers or nuts – is easy to throw together, even at the last minute.

For wine, I chose two of my favorite red wines. I may be a rosé all day girl, but I love red wine in the Fall. Set out some glasses so that guests feel welcome to pour another glass when they’re ready.
A very special thank you to Abba Patio! I love my Porta Pop!
Happy Fall entertaining, friends!
