Am I the only one who feels that summer isn’t officially over until Sept. 1st? Schools are back in session already, but it just feels wrong with it still being one hundred degrees out. And don’t even get me started on the pumpkin spice latte that’s now making an appearance this month. August will always be the end of summer, but it’s still summer! I think my August Instagram roundup proves that.

This striped midi dress was my favorite dress of the summer. I think it’s still available in one size, so everyone else loved it, too! I tried to wear it as much as possible, so it made the ‘Gram a few times. On this day, I wore it to lunch with a blogger and stylist friend of mine (The Real Golden Girl) at Sweet Paris. I think the look is definitely Parisian, which I am always going for.

I fell for the round rattan bag trend this summer (and I think it’s here to stay for a bit). I’d been searching for the perfect one, but when it comes to novelty type bags I never want to spend a lot. I found this one in Split for a great price, and I linked several others for you to recreate the look. Aside from my beloved Palmgrens tote, this little bag gets a lot of use.

Having the guts to put yourself on the Internet in a swimsuit is something I didn’t think I had. But I have such a hard time finding swimsuits I like that fit well, so when I do find one, I want to share it with those of you struggling with the same thing. This red bikini is one of the best fitting two pieces I’ve ever owned. And it’s really affordable. I love the ruffle detail on the top. It also comes in black and jungle green.

When you find a little piece of Europe in your own backyard! Snapped this on the way to a lunch date with my husband. This is my usual go to summer outfit – denim shorts, white tee, and wedges. I promote these espadrille wedges all the time on Instagram, but I can’t help it – they are JUST THAT GOOD! And they’re still on major sale at over 60% off in a ton of sizes. Seriously, get yourself a pair!

Ah, the official one piece of summer! This continues to be a big seller, and I’m so happy you all love it like I do. It feels so vintage, no? Comes in a bunch of other colors, too. We took this photo on a small rocky beach in Rovinj, Croatia. It was so nice just to bring a towel and spend the day lounging on the rocks.

I threw this one in because it’s just too cute not to! Lola is so fun to take pictures with. I was trying to get her to wear a scarf, too, but she wasn’t really having it. So I just snapped what I could and I loved how it turned out. I won’t be able to hold her like this for long, so I’m taking advantage when I can.
