Here’s to a short week! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with your families, reflecting on all we have to be thankful for and those who put their lives on the line for us each and every day.

I also think of it as the unofficial start to summer, and with that comes an Instagram roundup for May. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, but I realize that some of you might not follow along on IG (and that’s totally ok). May 1 | Summer Hair Accessories

I decided to try pinning my long hair back with barrettes. This is a trend my inner 80’s/90’s girl celebrates. I shared a few of my favorite summer hair accessories on the blog here.

May 3 | French it Up

I couldn’t pass on this “merci” t-shirt. It’s actually the second time I’ve bought a shirt that says merci on it. I have a funny obsession with clothing and accessories in French.

May 8 | Introducing Daily Looks

This blog post was the first of my Daily Looks series. I love monochromatic looks and tried a neckerchief with it. As we get further into the hot summer months, that neckerchief will move north and help hold my ponytail in place. Also, you’ll notice I get a lot of use out of my Palmgrens bag. I bought it in Stockholm and it’s been one of my favorites ever since. I’ve linked some other budget friendly dupes, but if you can get the Palmgrens it’s really special. Such beautiful attention to detail!

May 9 | Essential T-Shirt Dress

This t-shirt dress is really popular by C&C readers, and it’s easy to see why. Super soft cotton, a plethora of colors, pockets and a side slit make this dress one of the most versatile pieces in my summer wardrobe.

May 16 | Spritz Ready Romper

Easy aperitivo, the perfect Aperol spritz, and this blue and white romper are three keys to a fabulous (and delicious) summer! This romper is going to Croatia with me and is a steal at $17.99.

May 21 | Road Trippin’

I had such a wonderful time touring Camp Comfort and Meyer Bed & Breakfast! The staff is wonderfully accommodating and the grounds and amenities are stunning! It’s the perfect road trip destination!

May 22 | Coffee Break

It’s still comfortable enough to grab a table in the shade and sip away. I met up with a fellow blogger friend for coffee and catching up. We also shot some content for our sites and planned a follow-up date for more creative collaboration.
