So many spring trends, so little time! However, I have no problem jumping onto the jumpsuit trend this year. My style changes almost daily depending on my mood. But I have always appreciated vintage or retro trends that find their way back onto the magazine pages with the same fervor they once did, albeit updated.

The 70’s gave us a lot of interesting fashion pieces that are still influencing our wardrobes today. Bell-bottom jeans are now flared denim and earthy hippie looks have become boho-chic. The jumpsuit also emerged during this decade and this season they’re everywhere. Although today’s versions are less disco and more daydream.

Including this gorgeous little number I picked up from one of my favorite local boutiques here in San Antonio, Alexa Nicole Boutique & Salon. That’s right, you can get a fantastic blowout and shop at the same time! If you don’t live in the area they will ship, so check them out.

I have to admit that I was a little nervous to try it on because I’m not the tallest girl in the world and one-piece things like this tend to fit weirdly at my waist. But this jumpsuit fit like it was made for me. Everything was in the right spot. It pulls on without need for a zipper or buttons and has adjustable straps if you need to let it in or out. I wore a strapless bra because of the tie in front.

Every time I look at this jumpsuit I have all the Europe feels! I could totally be in the South of France in this baby. Just strolling along the boardwalk in Nice or having a glass of rosé while watching the sun set. Do your clothes ever do that to you? Do they have you daydreaming of exotic locations or thinking about what you could be doing in them? I am always getting some sort of vibe out of what I’m wearing. I guess it’s the delicate blue and white stripe and breezy fabric that have me thinking the French Riviera needs to see me in this!
