My favorite summer jewelry piece from James Avery is the Desert Rose Charm. It makes me think of the trip my mom and I took to New Mexico a couple years ago. I love adding pieces to my jewelry collection that are tied to a good memory like that. The little rose in full bloom is the detail that sold me on it. It’s a great contrast to the masculinity of the sun bleached skull. I’m wearing it with the Forged Beaded Chain, which is a beautiful chain that can also be worn by itself. I love the delicate forged beads that give it a little subtle detail. Both pieces are in genuine sterling silver.
I paired this necklace with the Styled Stack Cuff Bracelet, also a new James Avery design. I have a lot of cuff style bracelets because I love their easy slip-on nature and this one is beautiful. It almost looks like three different bracelets with the flower and vine detail, the twisted bronze wire, and the beaded sterling silver band. The mix of sterling silver and bronze gives it more versatility to layer with gold or silver accents. It has some nice heft to it, feeling a bit chunky but still feminine with the detail.
