Happy Friday! We’ve had some rain showers this morning but now the sun is out and it’s looking like a beautiful day in central Texas. A hot day, but a nice day. I thought I would put together a little roundup of my Instagram outfits from the week and explain why I love the OOTD post so much.

If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen my daily #OOTD posts. I have been challenging myself to post my outfit each day for three basic reasons. One – I don’t like getting into a style rut and posting to Instagram provides me with accountability. Two – It challenges me to shop my closet more, reusing pieces that may otherwise get forgotten (call it the Kate Middleton method, if you will). Three – I want to inspire other women to expand their wardrobes and maybe go out of their comfort zone. Judging by all the positive responses I’ve received, I think I’m accomplishing all three.

Another benefit of the OOTD post is seeing trends in your style. This week I flip flopped between casual and dressy looks. I think the biggest thing to remember is to have fun and express yourself!
