Paul’s Menu of the Week Vol. 7

Lifestyle, Paul's Menu of the Week / Friday, September 24th, 2021

Things have been so busy lately that we’ve gone back to making some simpler meals, but Paul still managed to pull out all the stops on a few nights. I also jumped in and cooked a handful of times and I kind of enjoyed it. Kind of. 😉

This week’s menu is heavy on the meats, but there are a couple of lighter seafood dishes that I really loved. We also celebrated Paul’s birthday recently and he got a few new kitchen gadgets that he’s loving. One of them is a new chef’s knife and a couple of new paring knives. He always consults America’s Test Kitchen for their recommendations and this one has been a long-time winner above others. He also ordered a serrated paring knife that he says has been a big help. And he got this herb keeper, another ATK recommendation.

As always, I will link to any recipes that are available free online. If you are as into cooking as Paul is, I highly encourage you to subscribe to America’s Test Kitchen and/or New York Times Cooking. These are paid subscriptions that are worth every penny.
