Who else is doing a little online retail therapy these days? I’m not going overboard on spending, but I do like supporting my favorite retailers. The good news is that there are some really amazing sales going on right now (scroll down for a list of the best sales of the week). I’m usually shopping for spring dresses this time of year, casual and comfy pieces that I’ll wear now with booties and later in early summer with wedges and sandals. I would say that I call this kind of wardrobe update “shopping for vacation clothes” but I’m not really talking about that subject just yet. Still holding out hope on something we’ve had booked for a while.
Last week I picked up two new spring dresses that were an incredible deal, and even though I’m just wearing them around the house right now, it feels so good to put on real clothes for a cocktail or dinner date at home. I feel so much more human when I’m dressed up.
I posted this tiered blue and white striped dress on Instagram earlier this week, and you guys loved it as much as I do. I think the tiered short length is really flattering and leaves room for all those quarantine snacks. 😉 The blue and white version is selling out quickly, but it does come in a really pretty dark blue and black version. I threw on my favorite wedges and marched into the kitchen ready for wine at our island.

The other spring dress I purchased was this tie-waist shirt dress in a light olive green. To be honest, I wasn’t sure about the sleeves (I am not a fan of anything with a cap sleeve) but the sleeves turned out not to be a problem and the overall style is really pretty. It’s nice seeing your waist line again after living in loungewear!
