By the time we get to July 4th, it can seem like summer is slipping away too quickly. I mean, it’s just not right to have back-to-school ads already. I’ve always been one to wish for an endless summer. I just love the easy going nature of it. And it always makes me feel a little nostalgic about all those summers as a kid, where your biggest concern was drinking out of the water hose and trying not to burn your mouth on the hot metal end. I fell in love with these two little charms immediately! James Avery always has the best new designs! I can remember spending hours trying to record the perfect mix of songs for my summer playlist. The sunglasses charm reminds me of those plastic charm necklaces we had in the 80s. Do you know the ones I’m talking about? I managed to find an image on Pinterest, but I wish so hard that I still had mine. I’m not even sure where they came from or who made them, but there were all kinds of funky charms that just clipped to a plastic chain. I used to pretend I was applying lipstick with the lipstick charm. Naturally I felt that the sunglasses charm and mix tape charm went together. Like a grown up version of my favorite childhood necklace.

I also love the boho feel of the Wings of Summer Charm. This delicate cicada reminds me of summer evenings listening to their song. And I love the mix of sterling silver with bronze. The Beaded Festive Flower Pendant is also one of my new favorites! This pendant is large and such a statement piece. I paired mine with a babydoll dress and instantly felt all the 90s vibes. Again, so much nostalgia with this summer collection!
