I’ve been referring to my latest projects as “Countdown Creations” since I’m counting down the days until I join Paul in Amsterdam. At the risk of sounding dramatic, crocheting has been a lifesaving hobby! It’s not only relaxing but it keeps my mind busy on something other than all the millions of other little things going through my head right now. Without something constructive to do, I might go a little nuts. 😉 I just found out our container made it to The Netherlands and has cleared customs so we are getting ready for delivery at the end of the month. Fingers crossed the moving process continues to go smoothly. But even if I wasn’t trying to distract myself and keep busy, I would still love this hobby so much. My latest creation is this Saltwater Taffy Tee and I’m sharing the details in today’s post!

The Saltwater Taffy Tee is designed by Rachel of @evelynandpeter and you can purchase the kit from Lion Brand like I did here. I love the softness of this tee and how cool it is, especially for summer. It calls for Truboo Yarn from Lion Brand, a 100% bamboo yarn that I love making summer pieces in. I made this bamboo tank top with it too.
The sizing of this tee was perfect (I made mine in a size small) and it came together easily and quickly. I love the delicate picot edging around the sleeves and hem, and the color combination of Tan, Coral, and Seafoam is so pretty. It’s like wearable saltwater taffy candy!
