Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope this post finds you well. As you know, I really enjoy having the opportunity to explore new brands and share them with you. Through my little blog here, I’ve been able to connect with some great companies creating products that enrich our lives. I love working with brands that are giving back in their communities, too, so I was really excited to be introduced to the team at Zilker Belts out of Austin, Texas. I’ve been working on this collaboration for a little while now, and am finally able to share it with you! You know when you’re keeping a secret and it’s killing you? Yeah, that was me with this one. Keep reading for all about this amazing brand (and snag a generous discount code for yourself). 🙂

Zilker Belts produces a beautiful collection of belts and dog collars inspired by the craftsmanship and design of the gaucho style born in Argentina. Their founders knew that this style would be embraced in Texas as well. Working closely with their partners in Argentina, Zilker Belts supports ethical manufacturing practices and a hand-crafted process to produce these unique accessories. They also support several Austin area community organizations including Austin Sunshine Camps, a non-profit serving youth near or below the poverty line. Love this!
Aside from agreeing with their “think global, act local” approach, I fell in love with their colorful belt styles. But what really sold me was the ability to twin with my sweet Lola in one of Zilker Belts’ beautiful dog collars. How cute is she in the Argentina style?
When it comes to “fashion collars” I typically stay away from them because the quality just isn’t what it should be to be a safe and sturdy collar. But the dog collars from Zilker Belts are extremely well made! The dark brown Argentine leather is thick and features a colorful hand-stitched design. I also love the belt style clasp which I prefer to the plastic clips for safety. It’s a gorgeous dog collar and Lola loves wearing it. Now I’m hoping that Zilker Belts will design a matching leash! (hint, hint guys!)
I’m wearing the Zilker Belts Native style, which has really pretty maroon and white stitching. I prefer the light brown leather of this belt for layering over a dress to give it more of a cinched waist and boho detail. This belt was perfect with this sleeveless maxi dress with a flounce hem. Lola and I were ready for a little picnic!

Zilker Belts has a great size guide for their belts and collars. They recommend going 2” larger than your pants size, which worked great for a higher belted fit. If you prefer wearing your belts lower around the hip, I would probably go 4” larger than your pants size. It’s a personal preference, but I knew I wanted to wear mine mostly for dresses, so going 2” above my pants size worked.

How would you wear your Zilker Belt?
