Mother’s Day always sneaks up on me. I see things throughout the year and think, my mom would love that! And then life goes on and schedules get crazy and before I know it, I’m scrambling to find something thoughtful at the last minute. I’m not alone, right?
Several years ago my mom gave me a pair of earrings from Kendra Scott. It was the first piece of KS jewelry that I owned, and to be honest, it was a completely new brand to me. Fast forward to today and I have an overflowing collection of Kendra Scott pieces. I usually wear at least one piece daily, and I have some “special” pieces that my husband has given me as little gifts that I wear for more dressed up occasions. Everything looks great layered or combined with pieces from other jewelers. I usually combine Kendra Scott with David Yurman.
I love that I can customize pieces with different stones and metals. If you haven’t been to a store yet, make sure to try out the Color Bar, where you can create a custom piece right there. It’s so fun! I also love the variety of shapes and looks, so you can find something for just about anyone or any style. And the 50% birthday discount they give is incredibly generous.
In case you’re wondering about my photos, I styled my Kendra Scott pieces with my favorite coffee table book, Paris in Color by Nichole Robertson. It’s filled with inspiration and organized by color from bistros to cathedrals, scooters to baguettes, and basically all things Parisian.
I’m not being endorsed for this post at all, but simply wanted to share the love and maybe help some of you who are struggling with a thoughtful, beautiful, and affordable gift for your mom. Below are some of my favorites from Kendra Scott for Mother’s Day this year. Just click to shop!
