Summer always feels like it goes by in a blink, but this year was filled with so many moments worth savoring. From wandering a lively food truck festival in Amsterdam to toasting pink cocktails at a Barbie-themed party with friends, the season had no shortage of fun. We sipped the night away at a summer party in London, soaked up two dreamy weeks in Provence, felt the sand between our toes at Zandvoort beach, and marveled at the incredible tall ships of SAIL in Amsterdam. Looking back, it was the kind of summer that blended travel, friendship, and a little bit of whimsy—just the way we love it. Here’s to a summer to remember!

We kicked off the summer at the Rollende Keukens food festival, eating and drinking from over 100 food trucks at Westerpark in Amsterdam.

Our friends hosted a Barbie-themed party and after a few Palomas and some bubbles, we danced into the night.

Our next event took us to London for a summer party, where we also spent a couple extra days enjoying the city. I updated my West End favorites post after this trip!

We returned to the Luberon region of Provence for an incredible two weeks of relaxed bliss!

After returning to Amsterdam for the month of August we decided to have lunch at one of the many beach clubs on Zandvoort beach. We really enjoyed Hippie Fish and can’t wait to go back and sip rosé by the waves again.

SAIL arrived at the end of the month and brought with it some of the largest ships I’ve ever seen from all over the world. It’s been since 2015 that the event was held so it was quite the spectacle. We enjoyed having lunch on the water and watching the boat parade.

As summer fades into memory, I’m reminded that the best seasons are the ones layered with variety—moments of adventure, relaxation, and celebration all woven together. Whether it’s a quiet afternoon at the beach or a once-every-few-years event like SAIL, these experiences shape the stories we carry forward. I’d love to know—what made your summer unforgettable?
