If you can’t spend time with mom on Mother’s Day, you can always make sure she feels special with a fun gift. I rounded up some things that I think are not only beautiful but make mom feel appreciated.
I love giving gifts more than receiving them. There’s something fun about selecting that “just right” present for a loved one and then seeing or hearing how excited they are upon opening. It’s a great feeling to buy something for someone that you know they would never buy for themself, too.
My mom and I have never really made a big deal about Mother’s Day. I mean, I always call or text her and make sure she knows I appreciate her. For the past few years we’ve taken a “girls’ trip” somewhere fun together, and it’s always at the beginning of summer. So it’s pretty much right around Mother’s Day anyway. This year she’s coming to San Antonio and we are doing a little staycation at one of my favorite resorts, La Cantera Resort & Spa. We are staying on the adult-only 7th floor and plan on lots of pool time, wine, and catching up.
If a little getaway isn’t in the budget, then I hope this Mother’s Day gift guide inspires you!
