So today I’m sharing all about the Sonic Eraser Pro by Michael Todd Beauty. The team at MTB reached out to me and provided me with this nifty little tool. I’m always curious when it comes to age-defying beauty regimens, so read on to find out what I think about what it does and how it fits into my current beauty routine.

What is the Sonic Eraser Pro?
The Sonic Eraser Pro by Michael Todd Beauty is a non-invasive beauty tool that aims to reduce the signs of aging, i.e. fine lines and wrinkles, around the face, neck, and décolletage. The goal is to achieve higher levels of moisture, brightness and tone, and elasticity in your skin. You can use it in combination with any of your skincare products from serums to moisturizers and creams. Michael Todd Beauty sent me their Daily Renewal Serum and I have to say I really like it. It contains sweet white lupine, which I had to do some research on. I learned that it’s a natural ingredient that has been used in traditional medicine to treat skin ailments like burns, boils, and sores. The Daily Renewal Serum incorporates it to fortify and enhance the complexion of healthy skin. It also smells really good and is cruelty free.
The Sonic Eraser Pro uses two methods to help deliver your products more deeply into your skin – thermal and sonic technology.
The thermal technology of the Sonic Eraser Pro provides gentle heat to help open up your pores. It heats to 107 degrees, which I thought sounded hot but it isn’t uncomfortable at all.
Sonic technology enables the device to provide 600+ movements per second. So as you’re gliding your products onto your skin, the Sonic Eraser Pro is warming your skin and providing a gentle abrasion (like a face massage) to help your skin better absorb your products, as opposed to using your fingertips alone.
It also has ionic technology, which is really useful. Basically this technology enables the device to turn “on” when placed on the skin and “off” when removed. So it doesn’t vibrate when you’re not actually using it. That means your product doesn’t splatter or get wasted, and I can use it anywhere, like while reading my favorite book in bed.
What does it feel like?
Imagine giving yourself a mini facial and massage every day. That’s what I’m equating it to. The warmth of the thermal technology feels really good. I have always loved a good facial steam or warming mask, so the thermal technology of the Sonic Eraser Pro is really something I enjoy about it. It’s not too hot at all and feels like you’re rubbing a warm smooth stone on your skin. It only takes a few seconds to reach its peak temperature, too.
The sonic vibrations are what bring the massage. It feels really good all around the eye area and down my neck. I leave it sitting in its charger when I’m not using it and it definitely holds a charge long enough to really enjoy it and get all your product absorbed into your skin.
My verdict
So does the Sonic Eraser Pro just feel good, or does it actually work? I’ve been using it for almost two weeks and I think I’m starting to see some results on two of my worst areas – around my eyes and my forehead. My forehead seems to have fewer lines and my eyes look a little less tired. It’s recommended to use for a full 28 days to compare your results, so I’ll keep you all updated over on Instagram stories.
