After such a fun weekend with friends, I’m still a little in weekend mode. That’s why I thought it would be fun to share my wine lover’s playlist. It’s a little snippet of some of my favorite songs to get you through your favorite bottle. It’s a mix of old school and new, from mellow to upbeat, and pairs perfectly with one of my favorite Texas wines from William Chris Vineyards. We’ve had some Fall weather this month and because of it, I just want to lounge in my most worn-in pair of jeans, let the music play and the wine flow.

Did you know October is also Texas Wine Month? Red wines take center stage for me right now, and this Mourvèdre from William Chris Vineyards is my current favorite. I really enjoy the deep redness of Mourvèdre’s dark fruit mixed with just a little spice. Fall is when I most enjoy all things spiced from spiced candles to lattes, so the Mourvèdre from William Chris is my go to this time of year. As with all of their wines, this one is approachable enough to enjoy casually or as part of a fancy harvest feast.
