Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Gift Ideas, Lifestyle / Friday, February 1st, 2019

Do you partake in the Valentine’s Day hooplah? I think the holiday probably gets a bit out of hand, but I do like an excuse for doing something extra special with my husband. And I love finding a sweet little gift or two. Maybe Galentine’s Day is more your speed? I love getting together with girlfriends (try making my Galentine’s cocktail the next time you’re having a girls only night).

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all about showering your significant other with gifts and chocolates. There are other people in your life you can show a little extra love to – your mom, grandmother, co-worker, sister, best friend… Even the smallest gift can express huge gratitude and love for them. Like this pretty pink coffee mug, which is perfect for pairing with your favorite roast and giving to that colleague who always makes you smile on the worst days. At under $6, you could gift the entire office.

As you all know, I really enjoy gifts that are fun and whimsical and a little out of the ordinary. The book, 642 Things About You (That I Love) is definitely an outside-the-box kind of gift. I own its companion book, 642 Things to Write About, which has tons of writing prompts to really get the creativity flowing. I think this book would be the sweetest gift and definitely something I would always hang on to.

Everything on my Valentine’s gift guide are things that I love or would love to give. That aromatherapy diffuser is probably the oddest gift on here, but I’m really interested in trying one. They always smell so good. Tell me if you have one and what oils you recommend!
