April 2017 Round-Up

Beauty, Fashion, Food and Wine, Lifestyle, Restaurants / Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017

I can’t believe we’re looking back on April already. It seems like I just posted my March Round-Up. I hope that it was a fun month for you! We certainly had a packed 30 days between work travel and conferences, but we managed to have a little fun too.

I started the month sharing some blogging, fitness, and personal goals. I think I’m still working out the balance of everything but I’m pretty pleased with how my fitness goals are working out (no pun intended). I’ve been able to stick to a running schedule and having a furry friend to tag along makes it more fun. My biggest goal right now is to get in better bikini body shape for Greece!

I missed out on the Coachella fun this year, but did share some of my favorite Coachella-inspired pieces for your wardrobe.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening at Bohanan’s Prime Steaks and Seafood. I detailed the entire experience from cocktails to dessert. We will definitely be back. Bohanan’s is doing it right.

I shared my love of Longchamp and how versatile their bags are, from travel to everyday. It was also the first time I was really in front of the camera (still working on that part).

The Mr. and I played 18 holes of golf for the first time in a while at The Palmer Course at La Cantera. One of my new goals for the month of May is to hit the driving range a bit more often. We lost a few balls but it was really fun and the course is gorgeous. We also went to the Valero Texas Open the same weekend.

I shared my Mother’s Day gift guide with Kendra Scott, where I shared my own personal collection and some recommendations for gifts for mom. It’s not too late to shop!

My first beauty post about Vichy’s new face mask line went on the blog. I’m not a beauty expert but I have really enjoyed these masks and sharing my experience. I hope to include more beauty content going forward.

Well that’s about it! We have some exciting things planned for May including a theatre outing and a trip to New Orleans. I’m excited to start preparing my wardrobe and to feature a weekend city guide for you on the blog. I’m also planning some restaurant reviews and new cocktails. So stay tuned and have a great May!
