March 2017 Round-Up

Lifestyle / Wednesday, April 5th, 2017

Why hello, April, is that you already? This year seems to be the fastest one yet. Each new month brings thoughts of what I accomplished the previous month, things I managed to do (or maybe not do), and I start thinking about the month ahead. I mentioned on Instagram that I’m working on some goal setting that I’ll be blogging about later in the week. The Mr. and I also have some pretty fun weekend plans which had me thinking back to all the fun we had in March. For your ICYMI file, here’s a quick round-up of my March!

March started off with my review of three vineyards we visited while on vacation in Chile. If you have the chance to go to South America, Chile is a great place to start. For oenophiles or just those who love a great glass of vino, I cannot recommend Uncorked Wine Tours enough.

Also in the month of March I gave you a peek into my makeup vanity, where I try to remember to stay balanced and be thankful. I also mentioned how much I love White Barn Candles, especially those with the marbled look to them. Perfect for any room.

I shared with you my top 10 places to visit in Europe, including some great B&B recommendations like Côté Canal in Bruges. Have you seen the movie In BrugesThere’s a certain famous Labrador retriever that we met and fell in love with while staying there. He has since passed on but what a joy he was! Can you find him in the photo below?

My husband and I fell in love with Peggy’s On The Green! I shared my full review of this wonderful new restaurant in Boerne, TX. You cannot come to central Texas without a visit to Peggy’s. So delicious!

As a self-proclaimed book nerd, I was excited to share my favorite spots in NYC for book lovers. I love boutique hotels and The Library Hotel does not disappoint. Also, if you’ve never toured The Morgan Library you have to add it to your bucket list. It’s like the library from Beauty and the Beast come to life.

As the weather warmed up and Spring Break came, I started feeling the urge for some new sandals, specifically espadrilles! I featured 10 of my favorite pairs, including this pair of Splendid Ednas that are an additional 30% off at NM Last Call right now!

The warmer weather also reminded me of our time in Chile, so I shared some photos of our walking tour of Valparaiso. This town is a feast for the eyes and makes for a nice day trip from Santiago. Plus you can enjoy lunch and a pisco sour on the water.

And speaking of travel, I shared how to be more than just a tourist with some tips and advice, especially when traveling internationally. I love this simple dinner we curated from foods we found at a local Parisian market.

At the end of the month I had three girlfriends come to visit and we did all the girly things! It was so nice to see them again and get to spend endless hours laughing over many bottles of wine and good food. We had a great day brunching at Vaudeville and checking out 3 of my favorite local wineries.

I concluded the month with a travel bucket list of places we’ve been that I would recommend, mostly in Europe. I also started sharing a weekly recap of my Instagram pics. Are you following me? 🙂

Whew!! I guess it really was a busy month of March. Here’s to a fantastic April! Thank you so much for reading!
